The NPLA (Nantes, Pays de Langue Anglaise) is an organisation in Nantes which led to the setting up of our Echange in the late 1980s; in March it celebrated 40 years of history, with a weekend of activities featuring many familiar faces from the Externat des Enfants Nantais including Jean Simon, the Headmaster in 1988 who with Tom Savage set up the RGS French Exchanges, and various delegates from Nantes' annual exchange with Canada, as well as representatives of the link with the village of Balcombe in Sussex.

Below in slide-show are various pics from the 40th Anniversary weekend, and video clips of speeches at the City Hall.
