RGS Rugby

Welcome to the RGS Rugby page.

Rugby has a strong tradition at RGS and is played on a competitive level throughout the school. Over recent years the investment within the sport has seen RGS rugby competing on an national stage with strong teams throughout the year groups. In addition RGS has a proven record of developing players that look to play beyond their school years with many players gaining national, international and county honours in the process.

Our 1st XV home fixtures are played at Flagge Meadow, which becomes a fortress for us during the rugby season. From 2nd XV to Year Seven the matches are played at both St. Oswalds and RGS The Grange.
