Henley Virtual Regatta
Well done to everyone who competed in Henley Virtual at the weekend. Everyone worked really hard to contribute to their team and there were some cracking performances!
Special mention goes to:
Tobey Butler who won the J15 individual run in a time of 8:02 minutes (2110m)
Adam Smith came second overall with a time of 7:14 minutes (2110m)
The boys’ run team of Adam Smith, Dan Hall, Angus Day and Nik Judge – qualified for the Championship Final on Sunday and came fourth for their 2110m run.
ERGO COMP: It was great to see the competitive attitude out there.
Phoebe was fastest Senior Girl on Wednesday (1:57.4), with Zara (1:57.6) and Katie (1:58) less than a second behind; Menna (4:04.4) was fastest Girl on Thursday; Phoebe (0:40.3) on Friday; and Zara (3:49.2) pulled it out of the bag on Saturday.
Ben Jarvis was fastest boy on Wednesday (1:41.1) with Freddie on 1:41.4; another close one on Thursday with Freddie first (3:35.0) and James second (3:36.5); James took the lead on Friday (0:35.3) with a tie for second, Freddie and Ben J both on 0:35.8; and Freddie the winner on Saturday (3.20.1).
