What is Showbie?

Showbie is an app used by teachers to assign, collect, and review student work.

The Showbie App will be automatically ‘pushed’ to your iPad once you have enrolled it on the MDM. For more information on the MDM and a How to enroll guide, please Click here

Showbie keeps student work organised by classes and assignments. At a glance, students can see their upcoming assignments and due dates so they can prioritise their work.

Students can provide responses to assignments or annotate worksheets directly in the app in the form of text comments, the pen tool (which allows them to draw and write directly on the page) and pinned voice notes. They can also submit work to Showbie from virtually any other app, with some of the most popular being iMovie and Book Creator.

Likewise, teachers can provide grades as well as rich feedback in the form of voice notes, annotations, and videos.

Sign Up for Showbie

Now that you have your iPad enrolled on the MDM and the Showbie app has been installed, you need to Sign up.

You will have been provided with an RGS account and a Google Drive account. We suggest that you sign up to Showbie using your Google Drive login details, if you forget your password either visit the IT Technicians or email help@rgsw.org.uk and we can reset it for you.

Signing up

1: Open the Showbie App

2: Tap I’m a student

3: Enter the class code supplied by your Teacher or the IT Department then tap join class

4: Tap Sign Up with Google

5: Enter your RGS email address and tap next

6: Enter your RGS Password and tap next

You will now be presented with the main Showbie screen
